ProfileSpider handles billing through Stripe. This guide covers billing cycles, invoices, how to update your payment method, and what happens when you upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan.

Understand billing cycles

Monthly plans renew on the same date each month. Yearly plans renew once a year. Each cycle, your subscription credits are reset — a fresh batch replaces any unused ones.

Subscription credits do not roll over. Consider topping up if you need credits that never expire.

Know how plan changes work

All upgrades, downgrades, and billing-cycle switches are scheduled for the end of your current period. You keep your current plan's benefits until then, and the new plan activates automatically — no action needed on your part.

View invoices and payment history

Click Manage Subscription in the extension menu to open the Stripe Customer Portal. From there you can view all past invoices, download receipts, and see upcoming charges.

Update your payment method

In the Stripe Customer Portal, click Payment methods to add, remove, or change your card on file. Changes apply to all future charges immediately.

Cancel or resubscribe

To cancel, click Cancel Subscription on the pricing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then reverts to Free. You can resubscribe to any plan at any time.

Cancelling preserves your top-up credits and all extracted profile data. Only subscription credits are forfeited.

When am I charged?

You are charged immediately when you first subscribe. After that, you are charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle — monthly or yearly depending on your plan.

Will I be charged when I upgrade or downgrade?

No. Plan changes are scheduled for the end of your current billing period. You are not charged again until the new plan activates at the start of the next cycle.

How do I get a receipt or invoice?

Open the Stripe Customer Portal via Manage Subscription in the extension. All invoices are listed there and can be downloaded as PDF. Stripe also emails a receipt after every payment.

What happens if my payment fails?

Stripe will retry the charge a few times over several days. During this period your plan remains active. If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled and your account reverts to the Free plan.

Can I get a refund?

Contact our support team within 30 days of purchase. We will work with you to resolve any issues or provide a refund for unused subscription time and credits.
