How ProfileSpider Credits Work
Plain-English breakdown of ProfileSpider credits: page scrapes, email finding, enrichment, top-ups, plan resets, profile limits, and team credits.
Quick answer
ProfileSpider uses page-based credits. A normal page scrape uses 1 credit, regardless of how many profiles are found. Person email finding uses 3 credits per verified email returned. Company email finding uses 3 credits when at least one valid email is returned. Enrichment uses 1 credit per URL opened.

What Uses Credits
Credits are used when ProfileSpider processes a page, finds valid emails, or opens URLs for enrichment.
Page scraping
A normal page scrape uses 1 credit per page, regardless of how many profiles are found.
Person email finding
Person email finding uses 3 credits per verified email returned. If no valid email is returned, there is no charge.
Company email finding
Company email finding uses 3 credits per call when at least one valid email is returned, up to 20 emails. If no valid email is returned, there is no charge.
Enrichment
Enrichment uses 1 credit per URL opened. A selected profile URL, website URL, or social link can be used.
Bulk enrichment
Bulk enrichment runs across eligible profiles in a list. It uses 1 credit per profile in that flow because one URL is opened per profile.
URL type selection
Bulk enrichment is scoped to one URL type at a time, such as website URL or profile URL.
Free
What Does Not Use Credits
Saving extracted rows to a list inside the extension.
Adding tags and notes to saved profiles.
Exporting saved lists to CSV, Excel, or JSON.
Using free tools on the ProfileSpider website. Website tools have their own limits and do not draw from extension credits.
Email lookups where no valid email is returned.
Technical failures that stop the extraction before ProfileSpider can process the page content.
Plans
Plan Credits and Page Limits
Each plan includes credits and a maximum number of profiles that can be extracted from one page.

20 one-time credits. Maximum 5 profiles per page.
Starter
$12/month or $120/year. Includes 200 monthly credits or 2,400 yearly credits. Maximum 25 profiles per page.

Resets
Monthly Credits, Yearly Credits, and Top-Ups
Monthly credits reset
Monthly subscription credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Yearly credits are instant
Yearly plan credits are granted immediately for the year. They are not dripped month by month.
Top-ups never expire
Top-up credits never expire. Subscription credits are spent first, preserving top-up credits for later.
Top-ups use your plan cap
Top-up credits use your current plan’s maximum profiles-per-page limit.
Subscription credits first
ProfileSpider spends subscription credits before top-up credits.
Free credits are one-time
The Free plan includes 20 one-time credits. They are not a monthly recurring allowance.
Examples
Credit Examples
Concrete examples so you can estimate usage before running a workflow.
Scrape a directory page
A page with 40 visible profiles uses 1 credit for the page scrape, as long as the result stays within your plan’s profile cap.
Find person emails
If you run person email finding on 5 rows and 3 verified emails are returned, that uses 9 credits. The 2 misses are not charged.
Find company emails
If company email finding returns at least one valid email for a company, the call uses 3 credits, up to 20 returned emails.
Bulk enrich 20 profiles
If 20 eligible profiles are enriched and one URL is opened for each profile, that uses 20 credits.
Export a saved list
Exporting a saved list to CSV, Excel, or JSON uses 0 credits.
Add tags and notes
Editing saved rows, adding tags, and adding notes uses 0 credits.
Where
Where to See Your Credit Balance
In the extension, your credit balance appears in the footer. The balance uses color coding: red when you have 3 or fewer credits, yellow when you have 10 or fewer credits, and green when you have 11 or more credits.
On team accounts, the Team page shows a separate Team Credit Pool card with available and total credits plus a progress bar.
ProfileSpider does not currently show an in-app transaction history list. The product shows aggregate counters such as available, used, and total credits.
Billing
Where to Manage Billing and Invoices
Subscriptions, invoices, payment details, and cancellations are handled through the Stripe Customer Portal.
ProfileSpider does not currently include a full in-app billing transaction log. For subscription and invoice management, use the billing portal.
Teams
How Team Credits Work
Shared team pool
Subscription credits and top-up credits are shared in one team pool.
Personal credits stay personal
Free and personal credits are never pooled into the team credit pool.
Pool access is per member
Admins can enable or disable team pool access for each member.
Team credits are spent first
Members with pool access spend team credits first, then personal credits.
Current-cycle usage
The Team page shows each member’s team credit usage for the current billing cycle. It is not a full historical report.
Same-domain members
Team members are added from users with the same email domain as the admin.
Limits
What Happens When You Run Out
Credit-using actions pause when you run out of available credits. You can wait for the next subscription reset, upgrade your plan, or buy top-up credits.
Saved lists, tags, notes, and locally stored data remain in your browser. Exporting saved lists continues to work without credits.
